Mr. Pope is Managing Director & COO of EnTX Gastek, LLC, as well as a principal of Pope Terra Nova LLC.
Over the last several decades Mr. Pope has been a consultant, advisor, or director of several corporations, not-for-profit institutions, and government agencies both in the USA and abroad while remaining active as an investor, officer and director of operating businesses in energy, environmental sciences, and transportation.
Mr. Albert A. Pope began his business career on Wall Street, serving in senior positions at the Deltec Securities unit of Deltec Banking, and at J.P. Morgan, where he was the officer responsible for Latin America within the Corporate Finance Division, M&A Group.
Mr. Pope was appointed President of Montenay Energy Inc. in 1980, the U.S. subsidiary of Montenay, S.A., a leading independent French energy company. He served as President of Montenay Energy until its acquisition in 1986 by Veolia Environnement… then Generales des Eaux.
Mr. Pope has served as President of TerraNova Capital Partners, as an Advisor to General Gordon Sumner Jr, Chairman of Sumner Associates, and Dr. David Jihrad of SAIS, as well as a Director of the Pope Hartford Designated Fund, and Earth Train.
